the_dreaming_tree_by_alexgphoto-d6brhmcPreviously, we considered translation, transmutation, and transformation. Now we add that perception (perceiving) and these three are inextricably linked.

  • When we perceive that something is impossible, difficult, unattainable, and such, then we translate. Equally, when we desire something for selfish reasons but doing so is harmful to others (environment, people, etc), then we translate. Fracking is an example on a large scale. Another is “health care” that isn’t about health or care but about profit. On a personal level, translation is used in rationalizations, excuses, and such. At the core of the personal level of untruth is the untruth seems easier or more favorable to engaging the truth.
  • When we perceive that something can be done, attained, is worth our effort, and such, then we transmute. We engage the something about our self, or relationship or circumstance, and create change within the something.
  • When we perceive that our former perceptions about something were fabrications of our mind, then our reality is transformed.

With this three-T process and its awareness, we realize that we can cause greater benefit for our self and others by engaging our perceptions of reality in a new way. A truer reality will become apparent.

There are two teachings to set this meditation: the beginning and then after the first settling. Those who use these teachings for contemplation through the day, you’ll want to watch/hear both.
